What do PostSnag's plans include, and what are the limits?

PostSnag has three plans: Free, Pro, and Lifetime. Free $0, Pro $19 per month, Lifetime $139 one-time. Free opens most of the dashboard, including Overview, Posts, Compare, Bookmarks, and Folders; Discovery and PostSnag MCP are the two sections reserved for Pro and Lifetime. What changes most between plans is how much you can capture. On the Free plan you get 3 profile scans and 2 group scans in any rolling 7-day window, and each scan previews the first 30 posts in your dashboard. Pro and Lifetime both come with a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.

Here's exactly what each plan includes and where the real limits sit.

Free: $0

Free costs nothing and doesn't require a card. It includes:

• The Chrome extension with live, scroll-to-capture. The exact same capture engine as the paid plans.

• Most of the dashboard, including Overview, Posts, Compare, Bookmarks, and Folders. Discovery and PostSnag MCP are not included; both need Pro or Lifetime.

• 3 profile scans and 2 group scans in any rolling 7-day window. Each new profile, Page, or a member's profile opened inside a group draws from that allowance; re-scanning a profile you already scanned in the same window does not use another scan. See your remaining scans in Settings > Usage, or in the toolbar popup's Weekly scans meter.

• A 30-post preview per profile, per scan. Your dashboard shows the first 30 posts normally; anything beyond that is blurred behind a subscribe or upgrade wall until you upgrade. A profile or group scanned beyond your weekly allowance is saved but locked entirely until you upgrade.

• Limited group scanning, for scrolling and capturing an entire Facebook Group's own feed, counted separately from profile scans. Pro and Lifetime remove the limit.

Free is the plan to start with, whether you're trying PostSnag out or only need the occasional capture.

Pro: $19/month

Pro removes every Free cap and adds ongoing conveniences:

• Unlimited profile scans, no weekly scan limit to run into.

• No 30-post preview. A profile's full post history is visible in your dashboard, nothing blurred.

• Unlimited group scanning.

• Discovery, PostSnag's caption and hook pattern engine, included.

• PostSnag MCP, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or Perplexity can read your captured library and answer questions about it directly in the chat. PostSnag MCP is included with Pro and Lifetime.

• Every scan saved for good, so nothing you've captured ages out.

• All three export options, at full library scale. The Export menu has three options: Download data for AI (a Markdown file and a CSV file together), Download media for AI (a .zip of the images and videos), and Download Data & Media for AI (a .zip with both).

• Priority email support.

Pro bills monthly through Lemon Squeezy and is built for anyone using PostSnag on a regular, ongoing basis: agencies running client research, marketers tracking competitors, or creators studying a niche continuously. "Cancel anytime" means you're never locked into a term, and it's genuinely self-serve: open Settings, scroll to the Subscription section, and click Cancel subscription. A confirmation dialog reads "You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the Free plan." Confirm, and PostSnag tells you "Your subscription has been cancelled. You'll keep access until the end of the billing period." • Price locked at today's rate. No future increases apply to your purchase.

• Future features included at no extra cost as PostSnag adds them.

• Priority email support.

Lifetime is the plan for anyone who already knows they'll use PostSnag long-term and would rather pay once than monthly.

What's included on every plan

Overview, Posts, Compare, Bookmarks, and Folders are dashboard features available to every account, Free included, along with each profile's and group's own Analytics tab. Discovery and PostSnag MCP are the exceptions: both are included on Pro and Lifetime, not on Free. The limits on Free apply specifically to the weekly profile-scan and group-scan allowance and the 30-post preview; nothing else in the dashboard is walled off behind a paid plan.

If you upgrade after hitting a Free plan cap

Posts blurred behind the Free plan's 30-post preview are already sitting in your dashboard; upgrading removes the blur so you can see a profile's full history, no rescan needed. The weekly scan allowance works the same way: a profile or group scanned beyond that week's allowance is still saved, just fully locked, so upgrading unlocks it rather than making you scan it again. Do I need a credit card to try the Free plan?

No. Free costs $0, requires no card, and doesn't expire.

What happens when I hit the Free plan's scan limit?

You can see how many profile or group scans you have left in Settings > Usage, or in the toolbar popup's Weekly scans meter. The window rolls, so your allowance refreshes on a rolling schedule rather than a fixed calendar day.

What happens when I hit the Free plan's group scan limit?

The same rolling allowance applies, tracked separately from profile scans in Settings > Usage. Pro and Lifetime remove it entirely.

Is the money-back guarantee available on both Pro and Lifetime?

Yes. Either plan qualifies for a refund on the first payment only, requested within 14 days.

Do you offer team or agency pricing?
