What's in the PostSnag dashboard? (a tour)

PostSnag's dashboard is where every post, profile, and group you capture on Facebook ends up, organized into nine areas along the left-hand sidebar: Overview, Profiles, Posts, Groups, Compare, Discovery, Bookmarks, Folders, and a Recent scans list. Overview

Your home screen, and the first thing you see after signing in. Nine stat tiles summarize your whole library (top creator, best day to post, most-used format, and more), alongside two leaderboards, library-wide charts, a Top posts list, and a Biggest groups list. Profiles

Your full roster of every creator you track, split between the ones you captured directly and the ones pulled in automatically from the Facebook Groups you've scanned. Open any profile for its own header stats, plus Posts, Reels, and Analytics tabs. See How do I find and manage captured profiles?

Posts

The global command center: every post you've ever captured, from every creator and every group, in one place. Sort by likes, comments, shares, or biggest outlier, filter to All, Top, or Outlier, search, filter by creator, flip to a Reels or Analytics view, and multi-select for bulk export. Groups

Every Facebook Group you've captured, added automatically the first time you export from inside it, or captured whole by scrolling its own feed. Each group gets its own Posts, Profiles, and Analytics tabs, plus its own export. See How do I view and analyze a Group?

Compare

Line up to three of your captured profiles side by side: an At-a-glance table with the leader highlighted on each row, plus parallel breakdown charts for each profile. See How do I compare profiles side by side?

Discovery

Watches the creators you track and surfaces the caption and hook patterns that keep working across them, each one named in plain language with an average performance multiplier and real example posts behind it. This looks at the creators you personally track, not a shared feed pulled from every PostSnag user. See What is Discovery, and how do I use it?

Bookmarks

Saves a post, a profile, or a whole group with one click, browsable by Posts, Profiles, and By group tabs. See How do I bookmark posts, profiles, and groups?

Folders

Named collections you build yourself to group captured posts by project, client, or topic. See How do I organize captured posts into Folders?

Recent scans

A shortcut list of both the profiles and the groups you've scanned lately. Hover any row for two options: remove, which just clears it from this list, or delete, which removes that profile or group and everything captured with it for good. See Recent scans: remove vs delete (profiles and groups).

Beyond the sidebar

Your account menu, in the top right, opens Settings for your account details, notification preferences, usage, and plan. A support button sits in the bottom right of every page, so you can message the team or search the help center without losing your place. Common questions

Where did the Analytics nav item go?

It's not a standalone sidebar item anymore. Profile-level analytics live on each profile's own Analytics tab, and library-wide analytics live on Overview.

What happened to Recent profiles?

It's now Recent scans, and it lists both profiles and Facebook Groups you've scanned, not only profiles.

Is Discovery a shared feed of everyone's posts on PostSnag?

No. Discovery only looks at the creators you personally track. It's built to surface patterns in your own library, not a cross-user feed of everyone's captures.

Where do I go to compare two or three specific creators?

Compare, in the sidebar, lines up to three of your captured profiles side by side.

How do I get back to the home screen from anywhere in the dashboard?

Click Overview at the top of the left-hand sidebar.
