What is the Posts page, and how do I use it?

PostSnag's Posts page is the global command center for your library: every post you've ever captured, from every creator and every Facebook Group you track, lives here in one place, so you can work across your whole library at once instead of opening one profile at a time. Open Posts from the left-hand sidebar to see it.

Sort the whole library

Posts sorts everything you've captured by most likes, most comments, most shares, or biggest outlier. Because the sort runs across every creator and every group at once, it's the fastest way to see the winning posts across an entire niche or industry, not just one account, and to spot the hooks, formats, and trends that repeat between them.

Filter to All, Top, or Outlier

Three filters narrow what you're looking at:

• All shows every post you've captured.
• Top shows your top posts.
• Outlier shows only the posts that blew past that specific creator's own typical numbers, each one flagged with a multiplier, like "3x their typical post" for a post that beat that creator's usual performance three times over. A post can be an outlier for its own creator even if it's nowhere near the biggest post in your whole library; the flag is always relative to that one creator's own baseline, not everyone else's.

Search and the creator filter

A search box matches keywords across captions, and a separate creator filter narrows the whole page down to just the accounts you pick, so you can study one creator's posts inside the same view you use for your whole library, without leaving Posts for their profile page.

A Reels view and an Analytics view

Two views sit alongside the main post grid:

• Reels gives you the same sorting, filtering, and outlier detection, scoped to just your captured reels.
• Analytics shows the big picture across your whole library: content mix, engagement composition, posting activity by day, common reel durations, long-versus-short reels, and your best time to post. This is the same library-wide analytics you'll find on Overview, available here without leaving Posts.

Multi-select and bulk export

Tick any posts or reels you want, across any creators or groups, and a selection bar appears at the bottom of the page with Bookmark, Add to folder, and every export format: Data as Markdown, Data as CSV, data plus media in one zip, or media only. It's built for pulling a swipe file together fast, the best posts in a niche, captured from a dozen different creators, exported as one set in a couple of clicks.

If you'd rather export everything currently in view instead of hand-picking, the Export dropdown pulls the whole Posts view at once, in whichever format you choose. Either way, a big export runs in the background instead of freezing your tab, and PostSnag notifies you in-app and by email the moment it's ready.

Common questions

How is Posts different from opening a single profile's page?

Posts spans your entire library, every creator and every group, in one view. A profile's own page shows just that one creator's posts. Use Posts to compare across accounts, and a profile page to study one account closely.

What does "Nx their typical post" mean?

It means that post outperformed that specific creator's own usual numbers by that many times over. It's relative to each creator's own baseline, not a fixed threshold applied the same way to everyone.

Can I narrow Posts down to just one or two creators?

Yes, use the creator filter, or search by keyword, to narrow the whole page without leaving it.

Does exporting from Posts include the actual video files, or just the data?

Both are options. Choose Data as Markdown or CSV for just the text and numbers, or data plus media (or media only) to include the real video files and images in a zip.

Will a large bulk export freeze my browser tab?

No. Big exports run in the background, and PostSnag notifies you in-app and by email once the file is ready to download.
