PostSnag's Free plan previews the first 30 posts of a scanned profile in your dashboard and blurs the rest behind a subscribe or upgrade wall. If a profile has more posts than that, seeing 30 clearly and the rest blurred is expected Free-plan behavior, not something that went wrong with your capture. The dashboard shows this directly: the posts past 30 sit right there, blurred, with an upgrade prompt over them.

Nothing about the rest of that profile is missing from PostSnag. It's a preview limit on what you can see while you're on the Free plan, not a limit on what PostSnag captured.

Why this happens

PostSnag's Free plan has a few separate limits, and it's worth knowing all of them so this doesn't get confused with the others:

  • 3 profile scans total, with no weekly reset, a limit on how many profiles you can scan before you need to upgrade.
  • A 30-post preview per profile, per scan, a limit on how many of a profile's posts show up clearly in your dashboard before the rest are blurred.
  • Limited group scanning, a separate limit for scrolling and capturing an entire Facebook Group's feed, with no specific count promised on Free. Pro and Lifetime remove it entirely.

  4. Open that same profile again. The blur should be gone, showing the profile's full history with no rescan needed.
  5. Rescan the profile afterward only if you also want to catch anything newer than your original scan.

How to avoid it

The 30-post preview is a Free-plan limit, not something you can work around while staying on Free. If you know ahead of time that a profile has a long posting history you'll need in full, for example for a competitor audit going back months, it's worth upgrading before you scan it, so the whole history is visible right away instead of sitting blurred until you upgrade later. If you're staying on Free for now, keep a mental note of which profiles hit the preview limit; that way, if you upgrade later, you know exactly which ones to revisit.
