The toolbar popup and the on-page panel are two separate windows sharing one PostSnag sign-in, and they usually sync within a moment of each other.

Why am I asked to sign in twice?

Scrolling back over posts you've already passed can make the Collected count pause briefly. PostSnag won't count the same post twice.

Why does the Collected count change when I scroll back up?

A connection error after exporting usually means your network is blocking postsnag.com, not that your capture failed. Your data stays saved either way.

Why do I get a connection error when I export?

Email support@postsnag.com for anything this help center doesn't answer. You'll usually get a reply within one business day.

How do I contact PostSnag support?

The panel can briefly hold a previous profile's details, and your dashboard only updates when you export again. Both are expected behavior.

Why does my dashboard data look out of date after switching profiles?

No. PostSnag reads posts that are already loading on the page as you scroll, instead of running separate background processes of its own.

A post published moments before you scan can still be settling into Facebook's feed, so it may not appear until you capture and export it again.

Media loads into Facebook's page separately from post text, often more slowly, so an image or video thumbnail can be missed on a fast scroll.
