How do I cancel my PostSnag subscription?

PostSnag has no in-app cancel button. Cancel via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal link in your receipt email, or by emailing support@postsnag.com.

PostSnag doesn't have an in-app cancel button today. To cancel your Pro subscription, use the customer portal link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt or renewal email, or email support@postsnag.com and ask.

Why there isn't a cancel button in Settings

You manage your plan from Settings > Plans & pricing, so it's natural to look for a cancel option in that same place. It isn't there yet. Cancelling instead goes through Lemon Squeezy, the payment processor that actually handles your subscription and billing. This is the current, real way to cancel, not a workaround.

Cancel using the Lemon Squeezy customer portal

This is the fastest way to cancel, since it takes effect right away without waiting on a reply.

  1. Find a receipt or renewal email from Lemon Squeezy in the inbox tied to your PostSnag account. The most recent one works fine.

  2. Open the customer portal link inside that email.

  3. In the portal, find your PostSnag subscription and cancel it.

Don't have a receipt email handy? Search your inbox for "Lemon Squeezy" or "PostSnag receipt." If you genuinely can't find one, use the email option below instead.

Cancel by email

Email support@postsnag.com from the email address on your PostSnag account and ask to cancel. Include the account email if you're writing from a different address. Support typically responds within one business day and confirms once it's done.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops your next renewal charge; it doesn't end your access early. You keep full Pro access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and only after that does your account revert to Free. From that point on, Free's weekly scan limit (3 scans a week) and per-profile post cap (30 posts) apply to new capture going forward.

Everything you already captured stays exactly where it is. Posts, profiles, Bookmarks, and Folders you built up on Pro remain saved to your account; cancelling doesn't delete or hide any of it. Lifetime has nothing to cancel, since it's a single payment with no recurring charge to stop.

Cancelling vs. refunding

These are two different things. Cancelling stops your subscription from renewing again; it does not return money you've already paid. If you want money back on a recent first payment, that's a refund, covered separately by the 14-day money-back guarantee, and it has to be requested within 14 days of that payment. If you want out completely: cancel and refund together

If you're within 14 days of your first payment and want your money back, not just to stop future renewals, do both at once: request the refund by emailing support@postsnag.com, and cancel through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal so no further charge goes through while the refund is processed. The two aren't substitutes for each other. Cancelling alone stops renewals but doesn't return money already paid, and requesting a refund doesn't automatically cancel the subscription unless you ask for that too.

Changed your mind after cancelling?

You can resubscribe anytime the same way you upgraded the first time: Settings > Plans & pricing, then Start Pro or Get Lifetime. There's no waiting period.

Will I lose my captured posts if I cancel?
