PostSnag's Compare page lines up to three of the profiles you've captured side by side, so you can see exactly who's winning, on what kind of post, and why, without flipping between separate profile pages to piece it together yourself. Pick up to three profiles

Compare gives you three slots. Drop any profile you've captured into any of them, and swap one out whenever you want. You don't have to fill all three: leaving one slot empty for a head-to-head comparison works the same way, inside the same up-to-three layout. The profiles don't have to be ones you captured directly, either; any profile in your library, including one pulled in automatically from a Facebook Group, can go into a slot.

The At-a-glance table

A quick comparison table sits at the top, lining up six numbers for every profile you've dropped in:

  • Posts captured
  • Followers
  • Groups, how many Facebook Groups that profile is associated with in your library
  • Last captured, the most recent date you captured and exported that profile
  • Bookmarked, whether you've saved that profile to Bookmarks
  • Verified, whether Facebook has verified that profile

Whoever leads on a given row is highlighted, so the stronger account on any one metric jumps out immediately instead of making you scan three columns and do the comparison in your head.

Parallel breakdown charts for each profile

Below the table, every profile gets its own full column of charts, run in parallel next to the others:

  • Content mix, the split across reels, photos, albums, and text for that profile.
  • Engagement composition, how likes, comments, and shares divide by post type.
  • Posting activity, a day-by-day view of when that profile actually posts.
  • Common reel durations, the lengths that show up most in that profile's reels.
  • Long versus short reels, how that profile's reels split between the two.
  • Best time to post, with a plain-language takeaway for that profile specifically.

Because the same chart sits in the same spot for every profile you've chosen, you can read straight across instead of opening each profile's own Analytics tab one at a time.

What to look for

With the same charts sitting side by side, the differences tend to jump out fast: who leans on long reels versus short ones, who posts heaviest on which day of the week, whose mornings beat their evenings (or the other way around), and who's actually pulling comments and shares, not just racking up likes. It's the quickest way to see not just who's ahead, but what they're doing differently to get there.

Common questions

How many profiles can I compare at once?

Up to three. The three slots don't all have to be filled if you only need a head-to-head comparison.

Can I compare a profile I pulled in from a Facebook Group, not one I captured directly?

Yes. Any profile in your library can go into a Compare slot, whether you captured it directly or it was pulled in automatically from a group you track.

What does the highlight on the At-a-glance table mean?

It marks whichever profile leads on that specific row. A different profile can lead on different rows, so one profile isn't necessarily highlighted all the way down.

Is Compare the same as a profile's own Analytics tab?

No. A profile's Analytics tab is a deep look at just that one creator. Compare is built specifically to put profiles next to each other, with a shared At-a-glance table and matching charts side by side.

Do the profiles I'm comparing need a similar amount of captured history?

No, but comparisons naturally read clearer when the profiles you're comparing have a reasonable amount of captured data behind them.
