PostSnag is building six things next: an MCP that connects your captured data straight into the AI tools you already use, pinned-post detection, multi-language support, a weekly email digest, engagement rate on every post, and coverage beyond Facebook. None of this is live yet. This article covers what is being built and why, not how to use it, since none of it can be used today.

First up: PostSnag connected to your AI tools

PostSnag is building an MCP that plugs PostSnag directly into the AI tools you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. Instead of exporting a file and uploading it by hand, you will be able to pull any creator, group, or post you have captured straight into your AI tool and ask it questions about your own captured library from inside the chat. It is planned to be included in your current plan at no extra cost, whichever plan that is. This is the first roadmap item PostSnag is building, ahead of everything else on this page.

Pinned posts, spotted for you

PostSnag is building detection for pinned posts, on both Facebook profiles and Facebook groups, so you can see exactly what a creator or a group chose to put front and center instead of scrolling to find it yourself.

Speak your language

Multi-language support is planned across PostSnag's landing page, the extension, and the dashboard, so using PostSnag will not be limited to English for people who would rather work in their own language.

Your weekly digest

PostSnag is building a weekly email digest with two parts: a personal digest built around your own account, covering your best posts and biggest wins for any post, profile, or group you choose to follow, and a global digest surfacing the best posts, profiles, and groups across the whole PostSnag network, along with the outliers breaking out that week.

Engagement rate on everything

PostSnag plans to calculate an engagement rate for every post, so you can see how any single post stacks up not just against that creator's own history, but against your whole niche or industry at once.

Beyond Facebook

PostSnag is Facebook-only today. See What can and can't PostSnag capture? and Does PostSnag work on Instagram, TikTok, or other platforms? for exactly what that means right now. Looking ahead, PostSnag plans to bring the same capture, analytics, and export to LinkedIn and X next, with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Threads following after that. The idea is the same capture, the same analytics, and the same exports, on every platform that matters, not a separate stripped-down tool for each one. Nothing about that is live, and nothing changes about PostSnag's current Facebook-only capture until one of those platforms actually ships.

Why this order

The roadmap above is listed in the order PostSnag is building it, starting with the AI connection since it changes how you use everything you have already captured, not just what you can capture next. Platform expansion sits at the end because it is the largest undertaking: each new platform needs its own capture logic, its own post types, and its own analytics before it can match what PostSnag already does for Facebook.

Common questions

Is the MCP available today?

No. It is being built, not live. This article describes what is planned, not a feature you can use right now.

Will the MCP cost extra once it ships?

The plan is for it to be included in your current plan at no extra cost, whichever plan you are on.

When will these features ship?

There is no date attached to anything on this list. This article describes what PostSnag is building, not a release schedule.

Does PostSnag support Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or X today?

No. PostSnag captures from Facebook only today. Expansion to other platforms is planned but not live.

Can I see or influence what PostSnag builds next?

Yes. PostSnag publishes a public roadmap you can view and vote on, so the feature you want most can move up the list. You can also email support@postsnag.com directly with a request.
