What is the Overview dashboard?

PostSnag's Overview page is the home screen of your dashboard, the first thing you see after you sign in, and it rolls up everything you've captured, every creator, every post, every group, into one snapshot instead of a wall of raw numbers. Open Overview from the top of the left-hand sidebar any time you want the state of your whole library at a glance.

The nine stat tiles

Across the top of Overview sit nine headline numbers, each with a supporting figure underneath it so the number has context, not just a value on its own:

• Top creator, the profile in your library pulling the most engagement.
• Best day to post, the day of the week your captured posts perform best on.
• Most-used format, whichever post type, reel, photo, album, link, or text, shows up most across your library.
• Average engagement, the average reactions, comments, and shares per post across everything you've captured.
• Best time to post, the time of day your posts tend to land hardest.
• Reels share, what portion of your captured posts are reels.
• Share rate, how much of your library's overall engagement comes from shares, one of the harder actions to earn compared with a like or a comment.
• Posting cadence, how many posts per week the creators you track are putting out on average.
• Longest caption, the length of the single longest caption in your library.

Together, these nine tiles are a fast read on your whole library's habits, not any single creator's.

Two leaderboards

Below the tiles sit two leaderboards, side by side:

• Engagement leaders ranks the creators you track by total engagement, with each one's per-post average shown alongside.
• Biggest audience ranks the same roster by follower count instead.

Both include a See all link that opens the full ranked list on the Profiles page, so Overview gives you the top of each ranking with an easy way to go deeper.

The library-wide charts

Overview also charts your whole library at once, the same categories you'll find on a single profile's own Analytics tab, but rolled up across everyone you track:

• Content mix, the split between reels, photos, albums, links, and text across everything you've captured.
• Engagement composition, how likes, comments, and shares divide within each post type.
• Posting activity, a day-by-day view of when the creators you track actually post.
• Common durations, the reel lengths that show up most often in your library.
• Long versus short reels, how your captured reels split between the two.
• Best time to post, shown here with a plain-language takeaway that calls out not just when your library posts most, but when those posts actually land hardest, which aren't always the same hour.

Top posts across your library

A ranked list of your single best-performing posts, pulled from every creator and every group you track, each one showing its creator, its format, and its engagement. It's the fastest way to see your single strongest captures without opening any one profile. A See all link opens the full ranked list.

Biggest groups

A ranked list of the Facebook Groups you've captured, ordered by how many profiles you've pulled from each one. It's a quick read on which of your tracked groups is the richest source of captured profiles, with its own See all link into Groups.

Common questions

Do I need to capture anything before Overview shows real numbers?

Yes, Overview is built from what you've actually captured and exported, so it fills in as you add profiles and groups. The fastest way to populate it is to capture your first profile, which usually takes only a few minutes.

Is Overview the same as a single profile's Analytics tab?

No. Overview rolls up everything across your entire library. A profile's own Analytics tab is scoped to just that one creator. See How do I read a profile's Analytics?

What does "Biggest groups" rank by?

How many profiles you've pulled from each Facebook Group, not by member count or post count.

Can I go from a tile or a list straight to the full data?

Yes. The leaderboards, Top posts, and Biggest groups all include a See all link that opens the complete list on the relevant page.

Where do I compare specific creators against each other instead of the whole library?
