How do I bookmark posts and profiles?

PostSnag lets you bookmark an individual post or an entire profile with one click, so you can find either one again without searching or re-scrolling. Each one gets its own bookmark flag, and everything you save shows up on one page split into three tabs: Posts, Profiles, and By group.

Bookmarking is built for quick, one-off saves, the posts and profiles you want to come back to without setting up a whole collection around them. If you're organizing posts by project, client, or campaign instead, that's what Folders are for. See How do I organize captured posts into Folders?

How to bookmark a post

• Find the bookmark icon on any post card. Post cards show up across the dashboard: the global Posts page, a profile's own page, Discovery's example posts, a group's Posts tab, Bookmarks, and Folders.

• Click the bookmark icon once. It fills in to show the post is saved.

• Click the same icon again to remove it. It's a toggle, so there's nothing separate to undo.

Clicking the bookmark icon doesn't open the post. Clicking anywhere else on the card opens the post's detail view; the bookmark icon is a smaller, separate target so the two actions don't collide.

You can also bookmark several posts at once from a profile's own Posts or Reels tab. Multi-select any posts there, and the bottom action bar that appears includes a Bookmark option alongside Add to folder and the ways to export. The global Posts page and a group's Posts tab don't offer bulk bookmarking yet; bookmark those posts one at a time from the card.

How to bookmark a profile

Two ways to save a whole profile:

• From a profile card, wherever one appears (the Profiles page, or a group's Profiles tab), click the bookmark icon on the card.

• From the profile's own page, click the Bookmark button in the header. It relabels to show the profile is saved, and clicking it again removes it.

The Bookmarks page: three tabs

Open Bookmarks in the left navigation.

• Posts: every post you've bookmarked, across every profile and group.

• Profiles: every profile you've bookmarked, a separate list from Posts since profile and post bookmarks don't overlap.

• By group: your bookmarked posts organized by the Facebook Group each one was captured from, with a section per group (a View group link and its bookmarked-post count) and a separate "Not from a group" section for the ones that weren't captured inside a group. This isn't a list of groups you've bookmarked; PostSnag doesn't have a way to bookmark a group itself right now, only the posts and profiles inside it.

Switching tabs doesn't change what's bookmarked, only which saved items you're looking at. A post and a profile can each be bookmarked independently, even if they're connected to each other in your library.

Common questions

Can I bookmark a whole Facebook Group?

Not right now. You can bookmark the posts and the profiles inside a group, and the Bookmarks page's By group tab organizes your bookmarked posts by which group they came from, but there's no way to bookmark the group itself as its own saved item.

Can I bookmark several posts at once instead of one at a time?

Yes, from a profile's own Posts or Reels tab: multi-select the posts you want and use the Bookmark option in the bottom action bar that appears. The global Posts page and a group's Posts tab don't have bulk bookmarking yet.

Where does the bookmark icon show up?
